I was just wondering whether there was a difference in energy expenditure, between snatching hard style as compared to snatching sport style. So I thought I'd test it myself. Incredibly small sample, me :), and I haven't applied rigorous scientific methodology, plus my technique is not perfect by any means, but it was fun to do.
Sport style left hand side. Twisting wrist on the drop and softer knees to absorb the bell weight.
Harder style right hand side. Stiffer legs and no absorption on the drop.
