What Tony is speaking is the truth. If you are a single woman in this dating market then you have to take these things into consideration. If you know you’re average and a man way better looking than you is pursuing you then you have to wonder why. I don’t think I’m ugly. I’m fit and keep myself looking nice but i know as a brown skin woman I’m not the standard of beauty for most men. I understand that I Will most likely have to choose an unattractive man if I want him to be a provider for me. I will also most likely have to venture outside of my race as well. Some of y’all have to be honest with yourselves. Just focus on looking your best and being realistic when dating

If a man notices another man's "beauty" it doesn't mean that you're gay. A handsome man is a handsome man. An unattractive man is an unattractive man. Means nothing. I don't know...I think that the people in the comments who would even suggest that about you Tony have some maturing to do. I have older guy friends (in their 50s and 60s) that can say their son looks handsome or can acknowledge if a man looks sharp in a suit or whatever it is, and they feel secure within themselves as a man. It's not a big deal to acknowledge one another unless you make it a big deal. Same thing with telling another man you love him. I love it when I see men say, "I love you, brother/dad etc. We NEED more love in this world. We need to be telling each other that we love one another and are here for each other. I work in a field where people are starved for love.

No matter what gender, color, shape, or size you have to love you thee absolute most, get to know yourself and constantly work on self-improvement and what that looks like to you in all areas. If you do not have this mindset, you will be a follower, be used, conned and taken advantage of in some form or fashion whether that’s in a relationship or at work. KNOW YOUR WORTH AND ADD TAX! Always focus on your abundance, mind, body and soul… then you will be able to feel and easily know what is genuine, what is fake, what is influenced by society etc. You will move this way in all situations in life and only get better at it!! 👑

DEAR DSBW. YOU are loved. YOU are wanted and you are beautiful. I know its so damn hard to affirm yourself when the world says otherwise but damn it...DECENTER MEN! What has desirability gotten any woman? Halle Berry, Shakira, Beyonce, Sandra Bullock, Adriana Lima. KENYA MOORE, Mariah Carey. DESIREABility is a depreciating asset that doesnt ensure you will be loved well -just coveted. Demand respect. Earn it through your accolades and great treatment of yourself. Desireability does not ensure a long healthy marriage. It ensures that men will beg, borrow, lie and steal to get you inntheir possession. JUST like a damn car. 🙄 I love you all and if this Simone Biles thing has shown us BW...the WORLD sees our greatness. EVEN if our male counterparts do not.

Example: Michael Jordan married the societal standard twice. His first wife’s look was being praised & promoted during the time he married her, and his second wife’s look was being praised & promoted when he married her. Also, Jordan’s son, Marcus, is in a relationship with a woman whose look is being praised & promoted. Please note that I’m a huge Michael Jordan fan, and in my opinion, he is the the greatest athlete of all time. Sooo don’t get it twisted.😌 I don’t have anything against anyone mentioned above. This is just an example.😉

Watching from Kathmandu, Nepal. What you say is so profound and sad at the same time. I own the skin I was born in. And happier for it but had to, over time learn to love my dark skin because societal norms and some men in my community said my complexion was not desired. Thank God, I have a husband of 20 years that loves me the way that I am. IMO, the degrading concept of colorism has always existed in all societies. I equate it to people comparing blonde vs brunette hair color. While we all have preferences, some act as if blonde hair is a character trait. Therefore, making it seem as if women with blonde hair are more attractive. I think it's completely ridiculous and so superficial. Watched a dating show where, a woman wore a blonde wig but had naturally brown hair. The guy didn't like the brown haired girl but praised the blonde girl. It was the same woman and same convo. What??? Looks become irrelevant when you need someone to care for you on your sick bed or support you when you need it most. Superficiality won't fly with those types of scenarios, Good luck with that. But you know what doesn't fade over time? Love, respect, loyalty and intellect. Thanks for the insight.

This is so true. That’s what I said when I seen them together. His second wife will be looks comparable to him. He is using her. She needs to get that marriage annulled before it gets costly. Women need to start looking at things logically and ask why is he choosing me. Women need to be realistic of how coupling works. As an adult women I would never date a man that looks better than me. I did that as a child and ended up being a single teenage mother. Never again!

I’m glad Tony is talking about this and I liked when you said women need to ask why is he choosing me. I had a guy DM me on IG who’s not what I normally attract. I don’t qualify myself as ugly and my self esteem is healthy. I’ve never had a problem attracting men as a plus woman but I know the normal type that is attracted to me. Even if he’s good looking to others as well, my typical guy is not fine fine. He’s not looking like Simone’s husband. So when the guy DM’d me trying to strike up conversation, off rip I said sir I am genuinely not trying to come off as rude but I’d like for you to state your intentions for messaging me. I believe we can be realistic without downing ourselves. By society standards, I’m not the first pick. If I go out with a group of women, I’m more than likely not gonna be the one a man buys a drink for. I’m ok with that. But I DO know that sis ain’t ugly😂😂😂😂😂 It would unrealistic of me to want a man of a certain status to pursue me just based off my looks alone. My mindset was always this growing up: Imma like who like me😂😂😂😂That doesn’t mean settle but it gave me options which allowed me to even attract men who had some looks on them.

I remember when I was in college this was the early 2000s, and there was a young black man that was attractive and his fiancé she was not attractive based on societal construct of beauty- she was dark skin (think Lupita N complexion) wore glasses, and tall and thin. I was like how are they together? But that young man was seeing her through God’s eye (she was a hard worker, nice and sweet, a Christian). Both were Christian and that taught me a valuable lesson a real man could care less about looks, he wants peace.

Tony - We understand what you are saying (don’t worry about the folks who are choosing to be ignorant). I just hope Simeon doesn’t get wiped out financially by her grown boy husband. You are right there’s NO WAY a man who truly loves you would say the things her husband did smh, he would be trying to protect and praise her

She’s a come up to him financially and he’s a come up to her for looks genetics 🧬 etc. How much you wanna bet she ain’t sign a pre nup she ain’t gone do nothing to upset him. He barely likes her probably there’s no way he would let her make him sign a pre nup. He’s a fringe nfl player at that he ain’t no all star high level player she was a HUGE come up to him.

She definitely will get wiped out. He’s going to make sure she pops out some kids first. Once he’s set for life, he will start the cheating and disrespect. It’s unfortunate but its the truth

It's so interesting that in a phase of my life where I've been doing a lot of deep inner work around appearance for many different reasons and your video comes out as part of my process to undo what I been taught. I never felt good enough bc every decade had a different standard of what all us women should be in order to please men at the end of the day, be disliked by women as well and it's all just a scam to copycat and buy what we weren't given by God. I started working out and lifting for 10 yrs & often times i've been told i wasn't good enough for not being thick. Accepting myself as i am and naturally enhancing what i have to be it's best is the direction i took despite what society say's. That's why I don't even get on social media anymore bc I realized how nuanced and yet small the scrolling ends up slowly becoming these tid bit of how we begin to form that program. before you know it, your in this unconscious state of making apts to get lip fillers or whatever it is for you as a woman. I had to wake up and realize wait a minute, what am I zombing my way into? Is that where I place my value? And why am energetically, financially that invested into this external aspect of me of which draws men or ppl who end of valuing you and the next for superficial things. Rambling here but Thank you Mr Tony for validating my personal journey of growth.

Your comment is right on time. I’ve been doing a lot of inner work and training as well. I don’t have the natural thickness I used to have in my twenties before kids and don’t meet many men. I think I’m gorgeous simply because Yeshua made me but often allow satanic thoughts to cast self doubt in my mind when others aren’t validating me. It’s tough to stay focused and tap out of what society thinks but I’m often reminded that we have a purpose and it more than likely doesn’t involve the size of our ass and thighs. lol. Thank you for sharing this. It’s the little things that can make the biggest impact. 🙏🏽

Yesss same for me… I’m 23 years old and I’ll never get surgery out a bbl. I’m slim, dark skin & beautiful! But I’m very aware how people view dark skin girls so I understand that and know it. But I will never stop being me! I don’t little myself and I love dark girls and light girls! We all are beautiful and I’ll never play myself small around nobody who is lighter than me I understand she may have certain advantages because of the skin but I’ll never ever get upset like I use too I understand now! In every room I walk in my presence is always felt without trying or being the typical type. When I started showing up for myself and doing it for me everything changed. Idc about society and God created us just as he wanted us to be.
