Those two great musicians behind Lyle - Leland Sklar, bass and Russ Kunkel, drums - have been playing together for over 50 years!

I have been watching Leland’s KZitem channel videos of the various sites for this tour. I was hoping he would put one up with Lyle & Company playing. Now that several minutes have passed and Lyle is still story-telling I am suspicious that there may not be any music. I hope I am wrong.

Lovett has a love/hate relationship with his microphone and it sounds like the sound mixer person applied some significant EQ to the vocal to get enough level before feedback when he talks between songs, plus Lovett seems to like a bit of "vintage" in his sound as well.
