In this quick video I'll cover some of the ways I keep my personal spearguns in tip-top shape. In particular, we'll be coating nicks, dings, and scratches with a little teak oil to hide wear and tear and protect the speargun.
OK, maybe the video is longer than a minute but taking care of you speargun doesn't have to take all day! if you take a couple of minutes every few trips and oil your speargun it will look great for as long as you own it. I've also found that if it looks better you will take better care of it. And a speargun that is taken care of will last longer and perform better than one that doesn't look good...just look at my truck; it looks like crap and I treat it that way! I babied it more when the paint was in good shape and the chrome was shiny!
