This video features a KHI C151, 023/024, which is from UPD to serve NSL for the whole day, before swapping to an UPD AM Withdrawal, from NS11 Sembawang to NS9 Woodlands.
023/024 would make its way back into UPD when it was selected from TWD to do EWL PM Peak Run 358 on 24/6/2024. Run 358 on Weekdays is scheduled to return the train back into UPD late at night. Surprisingly, 023/024 would make its way onto the North-South Line the next day.
Initially supposed to last for the entire day on NSL, it got swapped out to an UPD AM Withdrawal and then returned back into BSD after PM Rush Hours (via a PM Peak Slot from UPD).
Seems that 023/024 is frequenting NSL a lot more these days, and with it only lasting at most 2-3 weeks on EWL before returning back to NSL & BSD hands. So are there some maintenance problems that 023/024 would constantly need to go into BSD for repairs? But either way, it is a good thing to film this KHI trainset on NSL once again especially since this is the Year Train (filming on the carriage which coresponds with the Year!)
Welcome back onto the tracks of NSL after spending 19 days on EWL (~3 weeks). Strong Motor can be heard on car 2024 A1/B1. Also note that 023/024 is one of the KHI trainsets to receive the SG Go Green Window Advert.
