Superb. It's my daughter's favorite snack. Mami, pls try makhana payasam. Just lightly fry in ghee. Crush to a coarse powder. Reduce milk and sugar till thick consistency. Add crushed makhana and elaichi or saffron.

Mami I make pal payasam with it by breaking into 2 after frying in ghee. Same way to aval upma also we can crush and add.

Mami, I add melted butter, salt and black pepper. Kids can take that. Also you adding ghee and sauteing makhana etc till that part all are same but when you add salt and podi what I do is , I’ll add those two sauté for few seconds and add few more melted butter or ghee so that konjathu konjam salt and karam will stick to makahana. I also add with ghee and do. Sometimes I add salted butter too.
