I don't have a treatment room, is the mic suitable for a noisy room? compared to samson q2u how about noise performance?

I just purchased a Mogami cable for $50. I'm going to do a comparison video to see if there really is that much of a difference between an expensive cable and a budget cable. I've been using the same mic cable for years and years and it never broke. Anthony you probably broke it somehow. LOL. All that clutter! hahahahahaha

Great intro and video... Since I'm not in a sound isolated studio, I've shifted to using a Dynamic Microphone, specifically the Samson QU2. Glad you showed how well Dynamic mics remove ambient sound. Although I can be much more than 3" away from the samson

Hi, Is this only good for podcast/voice over type? Or will it also sound good for recording vocal music? Planning to go with audio technica 2020 for singing but then i saw this video and now im in dilemma on which one to pick up. Been scrolling to youtube reviews for this mic but could not find any vocal take review.

Hi Mrs Sypniewski. commenting from the Caribbean. that Maono is beautiful, but there is hiss in the audio and I'm wondering if some measure of processing was applied, because it does sound that way, although you noted, no processing was applied. when you did the silent part, didn't you hear the hiss? that won't be good for voice over.

I always leave the audio raw. It’s a great mic for voiceovers. There’s also a certain amount of room noise as well. The mixer also has self noise.

Great review! I just happened upon your channel. I'm doing a bit of research on this mic, and Google sent me here. That's a good thing, right? Lol ... That said, I find it interesting that the Maono AU-PM500 looks exactly like a Lewitt (which was the spark of my interest in the Maono in the first place). Anyway, cheers to you and your channel!

Great video! Super informative. Thanks for making this! Yes I agree that the mic is sexy haha! :) Question, other Maono condenser mics don't need 48V phantom power when using Maonocaster Lite. Do you think that mic doesn't need a 48V phantom power when using maonocaster lite? Thankss!!! :)

585 subscribers, but it’s went up 100 per week the last two weeks and views go up every day. My view time is really good with some views retaining 15 minutes and 4,000 views. Also, Drone companies have already sent me 6 free drones to review because they said I’m presentable and Wholesome, lol. My first ones where so bad, but the more I watch your video’s the better they get. Wish I had more time because it is so much fun. Would love to hire you one on one for some consulting. Ill be interested to know what the final price will be. I wonder how the mic would sound with a de-essor filter and/or less highs/treble through an equalizer.

I added a touch of eq at the end but very minimal because I was getting a hot flash and the studio lights were killing me. I have such a sibilant voice because of a chip in my bottom tooth, I usually comment on that in my videos but I'm trying to keep them shorter so I had to cut out like 12 minutes from the video and that got cut out.

I think they said around $150 which is great because I think this is a Lewitt C44 pure knock off and that's $300
@@tammysypniewski1891 for my voice, I feel I have to boost the lows. However, please know that your voice is smooth and professional sounding. Sorry about those hot flashes!
