"I laughed once and I think it was by mistake" has to be the most withering one-line review of a film I've ever heard.

Excuse me... Mr Beans holiday is a timeless masterpiece about love, loss, reunion and friendship and features the greatest experimental piece of media ever 'playback time' .

David Holgate Mark takes comedy films to seriously they aren’t meant to be Oscar winners , the films a good laugh and Rowan Atkinson is probably the best comedic actor out there

He did say "my flexible friend" in that weird voice on the TV show version. But, this stunk the cinema out.

You have to remember that Mr Bean is a very different character in this film from all of the other media he appears in. The point of this film is not to have a laugh a minute, it’s to tell a very joyful story. I have seen the film over 150 times and it is still an absolute joy every single time.

Why Kermode hates this film I have no idea? It was a great, fun, family-friendly adventure with a weirdo who makes noises and grunts. Almost plays like a silent film.

If you think the first Bean film is better than this one - then frankly you have lost credibility. The first film had a written script of overbearing dialogue - wrong! Wrong! Wrong!....... the idea of throwing him into a situation where none of the characters can communicate due to the language barrier gives this film exactly what the first one didn't- its a visual comedy not a vocal one. Yes it is true, you either like or hate Mr Bean - but thats true of slapstick in all eras - but to suggest that Rowan Atkinson doesn't understand how slapstick works is like saying Mark Kenmore doesn't u destiny film.... he clearly does - but on this occasion has missed the point completely.

The first film wasn't good. Both are OK albeit uncomfortable to watch which, for the most part, the original TV programme wasn't. Rowan Atkinson is a great actor though, don't get me wrong; the films he's in just aren't always so good.

Of the two films, the first film would really be the funniest, but I think it was bogged down by the fact that there were a few scenes from the original cut that should've been kept in the final cut to hold an impact on a later scene. This one, I don't think was trying to be funny, I think they were trying to tell a story with this one.

The only part i laughed at in this film was when he was pulling faces on the train and the foreign guy just stared at him. Overall it wasn't a very good film, the first Bean would've been better if it wasn't americanised.

I hated the movie and the whole joke about Mr Bean saying "Gracias" about 30 times was just irksome. Also, when Mr Bean causes the boy and his father to separate, you just hate Mr Bean for doing that. And that scene in the shed was just pointless.
