Christians are still evil people who are dangerous to society. It's their way or no way. If you are ten, raped and pregnant you must have your abusers baby because their religious beliefs think it's murder. It could kill her but they don't care. Letting religious fundamentalists run the usa is going to be our downfall.

What people today don't understand, is that torture is in line with christianity. If you truly believe you are at war with demons and Satan, torture is no big deal. And what's a hopeless sinner worth? Nothing. Doesn't matter how you treat sinners. They go to hell, right? Eternal suffering. Who cares if they start screaming a bit early?

@SmashtheCmachine Sigh. Have you ever read any professional academic research on the Middle Ages, or do you just go with whatever you happen to find on youtube? Take a good look at the "torture instruments" being displayed in this video, none of these artifacts are old enough to have been made in the Middle Ages. They're all recently made, probably in the 20th Century, specifically for side show half-baked torture museums.

Roman Catholicism started around 4th Century when Emperor Constantine in AD.325 promoted a mixture of Christianity & Roman Paganism and here is the evidence (Similarities between Hinduism/Taoism and Catholicism): Veneration of angels and dead saints; Worship of images and relics; the Rosary, or prayer beads,etc....FACT: Roman Catholicism was never a Christian church.

@squirrelrides I mean you might as well be saying that calculus is integral with Christianity, because it was invented by a very religious Christian. But it wasn't the Christianity necessarily that drove him to find out more. It was curiosity enough to figure it out, and many other things, up to the point he invoked the magic of the creator as a reason he couldn't figure out more. Naturally making religion as a forebearer of moral frontiers thereafter to smarter minds obsolete.

Technically, if they didn't inflict the fatal blow and had their hands on their body causing their death, then logic has it that it can be said that a.) the tool killed them b.) the loss of blood killed them or c.) the pain killed them. To blame the person behind the device for their death is to blame the source of the problem without blaming the thing itself. So logically, they didn't break any thou shalt not kill rules. This was well within the allowable lines of Christianity.
