Join the expert seller Sumit Jha while he reveals the 5 tips to get maximum orders on Sale Days. There is a lot of information available to boost your orders on topics like pricing or participating in sale days.
Here’s the first method:
If you’re a registered seller on Meesho, you probably know that they recently added the option to edit the details of your catalog with just one click. This is a big change, because earlier, once you upload your catalog you had to raise a Support Ticket to change any detail. And sometimes the ticket would take time to resolve or go unresolved and the details wouldn’t get changed. So things could get a bit complicated. But now your Catalogs have an edit button through which you can change all the product details, title and descriptions. Only pricing cannot be changed this way. So using this feature, the most important thing to change for Sale Days is the product title. This is because all products are searched for in the search engine based on their titles. If a customer is searching for a product, they will type in keywords. If your product title contains these keywords, it will appear first in the search results, otherwise it will appear much later. Use keywords in the title that you would use to search for that product if you were a customer. If your title contains the right keywords, it will appear first in the search, views and clicks for your product will increase and so will your orders. So you need to check all your products and edit and update their titles. This can increase your orders by large numbers.
Now let’s talk about the second method.
The title is the most important thing that puts your product at the top of the search results. The second most important thing is the description. You do not need a 10-20 line description. Keep it simple and try to use keywords here too, so that it improves the position in the search results. Make sure that it is not too long, but gives all the necessary information to the customer. You won’t believe it, but just doing this much can increase your orders 2-3 times.
Now it’s time for the 3rd method.
Many sellers don’t stock the products themselves, but get supply from others. They may list 10-15 products and ship just these. They may be dealing in only these products expecting their business to grow. Let's understand the customer journey on Meesho. They see your product, and if they like it, the next step is to visit your online shop. Now if you have uploaded 2000-2500 products, nobody is going to look at all of them. You need to keep the products that are selling well and have high ratings, while keeping the total count of products minimum. Higher number of products does not mean higher number of orders.People may say visibility is more, and this is not true. You will end up making a mess of your account by adding too many products. So keep the count minimum and update your products regularly, and you will see your orders grow. When you update listings regularly, you will automatically find and bring trending products. Your visibility and orders will also increase. So method number 3 is to regularly update inventory and not keep the same products always.
Coming to the 4th method.
Many people think that they will only get orders if they run many ads, list many products or sell at very low prices. This, once again, is not true. You may get orders, but dispatching them on time is very very important. So make sure no matter how many orders you get, dispatch all of them on time. Opt for NDD (Next Day Dispatch) only for products that you have in stock, and not for the others or for the whole account. If you dispatch orders on time, your visibility will increase, you will get more orders and your business will grow.
Finally the 5th and most important method to follow to grow your orders.
Many sellers who don’t know how to run ads, place ads on some products. They may get some ROI on these ads and increase orders. If the ROI is good, they continue the ads. If it is not good, they create 5-6 more ads on the same product and run them. If you run ads on 5-6 products, each product will have a different recommended CPC. So check each running ad every day. See which ads are getting the best response. If there is a product which is just taking your money for ads and not getting any orders, stop the ads on this. Follow recommended CPCs on the ads that are getting good responses. Try to update your Ads every day. This way you will be aware of money that is being spent unnecessarily and stop it. Your visibility and orders will be better too. These were 5 simple tips that you can use to increase your sales.
Keep a strict check of these 5 steps, and if they work for you, please let us know in the comments below.
