I learned a lot from Phyllis and not just about cooking. She was a wealth of knowledge on pretty much every subject she talked about. I miss her dearly. I remember when she got the air fryer and was very disappointed in it and after cooking burgers she said its going back. Lol ! I've been going through her old videos and She always made me smile. ❤🙂

@@loridennis2989 ...it depends on one's perspective. Had a Pastor who felt that no matter when we die, we all arrived at New Jerusalem at the same "time." Said he couldn't prove it, but he did have Ph.D work towards physics. Psalm 144:5 says in my Hebrew/English Tanach "Hashem bend Your Heavens and descend...." That's the time space continuum. Jesus said at the cross "it is finished." So.....by Heaven's perspective they certainly may have their GLORIFIED bodies. If we are seated in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus, I can guarantee you those bodies are GLORIFIED.

It is so funny how we, the viewers of your Mom's channel, feel as though we knew your Mama. I lost my Mom in 2014 and my father in 2016. I watched your Mom, at times, because I missed my own mother. I would marvel at the sureness of her hands when she, like Mom, would whittle away at a potato or onion with such confidence and skill. Her recipes reminded me of childhood, home, and safety (yes, safety). My Mom was short, blue-eyed, and oh so Irish, so there was no physical resemblance, just a resemblance in intent--showing love through everyday things. Please keep your Mom's channel alive. Don't listen to the nay sayers. Some will tune in and belittle your efforts because they don't look or feel exactly like your Mom's. That is unfortunate and unrealistic. You are not your Mom, but you, like her, are willing to share. Thanks for that.

Also, Colonel Steve, I wanted to tell you that I envy your being able to fly. I grew up during WWII and the plane I most favored was the Corsair. I forever had my eyes to the skies looking for a plane to show up for me to watch. Fighters were my favorite. I was born too soon since I was growing up when women flew the planes to the pilots who took them to the fight. I was married with two kids when women we're beginning their flight training to fly jets. So....when I could have flown I had a family. Simply put, I was born at the wrong time. Too soon and too late! Besides, I always wanted to fly a jet fighter under one of our bridges that spans the Ohio River in our town. NOT a good idea. Anyway, flying is almost poetic...or a dance among the clouds. Beautiful. Take care!

Your mom and Mr bucky told us about this list and she said he met every one of the 27 things she had on her list and that when she saw his birthdate on his drivers license she couldn't believe it. This is so cool. She did speak at 1 point about the break up in dec and when they got back together.

It was very evident that they they cared very much for each other. I read one post she wrote about their courtship and early years together. They seemed very well suited and very much in love up to end.

Hi Stephen. I so much enjoy going over videos of your mom and Mr. Bucky. As a matter of fact I have been watching the videos this morning and was still watching them when this message came in. I was watching the trips that your mom and Mr. Bucky made to the South Carolina farmers market. They are so funny especially the one video where her car broke down while she was at the market, it’s just hilarious. Thank you for continuing to carry on your mom’s mission. I too enjoy your sense of humor and cooking skills. Going to make Pimento Cheese using Your recipe today. Your Mom was a Special woman which is so obvious to us all. You are blessed to have her as your mom. Enjoying your Family, your cooking style and other endeavors you do. Thank you Colonel Ritter for your service to our country and fellow man. Take care. Much Respect from Dallas,Texas.
