Motaz Azzouz Not even. Her demeanor is very similar to Maangchi's, I think that's what it is. Obviously the strong Korean accent is something else they share too.

I made these tonight and noticed the ingredients and measurements are all wrong.She said baking powder and baking soda in the video but only one was listed. Measurement of water was wrong too I had to add more because my dough looked really dry.

paperplaneswish I rooted for her and Jan Charles. For some reason, though, this lady lasted right around a year at the M Restaurant. I can't find it why she left, though. Guess it was too much for her, since I remember her saying that she learned everything she knew about cooking from the cooking shows. I don't think she ran a restaurant before she appeared on Restaurant Express.

merci Beaucoup probably baking powder. Baking powder makes the donut fluffy so that’s my best guess.

in the ingredients it says 1tsp baking powder and no baking soda - but in the video it says both baking powder and soda? so is it 1tsp baking powder and 1tsp baking soda? it looks so good I would love to try this recipe out!!

Don't know why this didn't work for me but I just got incredibly frustrated. 11/4 cups of rice flour and only a half cup and a tablespoon of hot water was NOT enough to make it a wet dough to absorb" anything. Effectively wasted my time and my flour. Kept sticking to the bottom of my pan. Trying out another recipe.
