Good tip to make the cable shorter What do you advise when getting slack on the folding mechanism?
@UnagiScooters
3 жыл бұрын
We don't expect you to have any issues at all with that. If it ever ends up getting tight, you should theoretically simply be able to pull the cable out at the bottom a bit more to give it the length it needs. 👍

My front stem out of the box seems like it has a very VERY slight wobble back and forth. Almost like a natural play/give in the stem where the hinge is. Is this normal? Or is it supposed to be completely tight and flush?

I think it's just a down side of the hinge.

I placed my order on September 1 and still haven't received it yet. I keep getting emails with different reasons for the delays (China trade war, upgrading the model, the color I chose gets painted last, etc.). I still don't know when it will arrive. I've noticed on their website that they changed their shipping period from 30 days to 90 days.

I read the specs., and it’s also good and serves my purpose. I’m very happy 😊 with it. I’m using it now as my transportation to work. I pray you get your Unagi scooter soon. Just road my 500 for the first time and the duel motor mode paired with mode 3, I got up to some pretty high speeds, even tackled a couple hills, but what I noticed towards the end of my trip is that the motor becomes a bit jerky in those paired modes, I was basically hopping along at one point, before the scooter would prevent me from using the throttle, and felt like the breaks were being applied. It took about 5 minutes before the scooter, which was still on, to wanna work again, but still in the same matter as before. Is there a reason a $2000 scooter should already be becoming useless?

It sounds as if you left your speed on level 1, which does indeed max out at 10.5mph. Click the riding mode button twice rapidly to toggle between levels 1, 2, or 3. You will know which of the three speed levels you have set active by the number clearly shown on the display. Level 2 maxes out at 12.5mph, and level 3 maxes out at 15.5mph. You can make level three max out at 20mph by holding in both the brake and the accelerator paddles, then rapidly pressing the power button ten times. You will hear two beeps when that is successful.

@@mangomaharaja6859 It's the one on the right handlebar, with the button positioned so that you press it directly away from yourself with your right thumb while standing astride the scooter. You index through each of the three speed levels by double-clicking it each time and you'll see the riding mode you're in as the number on the bottom of the display from where you're standing. If you only single-clock that same button, you'll toggle between your miles traveled on the display (just above the riding number value) and your total miles traveled since you have owned your scooter.

How many miles does this scotter go
@UnagiScooters
2 жыл бұрын
Our scooters consistently deliver between 8-15 miles on a full charge. There are so many factors contributing to your scooter's range like the number of motors used, rider's weight, speed mode, road conditions, etc. However, if maxing out the speed on an unlocked scooter is your top priority on your rides as opposed to your range, it could be as low as 5 miles.

Our range is up to 15.5 miles based on a wide variety of factors, such as weather/incline/riding mode. You might be surprised to hear that half of all US car trips are under 3 miles, and almost all scooter trips are in this 0-3 mile range. Since our scooter is the lightest dual motor on the market, it's very easy to charge anywhere you go.
@Gunners_Mate_Guns
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, 15.5 miles for max range is very optimistic, based on the most favorable conditions, i.e. rider below 100 lbs, very little (if any) stops and starts, pool table smooth road surface, and very little (if any) turning. Most people's real world number comes out to just a bit over 8 miles, with 200+ lbs rider, varying surfaces, lots of turns, and frequent stops and starts.
