The classic sweet bread for Easter can be easily prepared with a bread maker.
1/2 kilo of white flour
3 eggs
120g sugar
100g of butter
40ml of oil
125ml Milk
lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon of salt
11 g dry yeast
(25g fresh yeast)
Melt butter with sugar, oil and milk. Heat up to 35°C.
Put everything in the breadmaker.
Beat the eggs lightly, add the yeast and mix.
Put the salt and transfer in the breadmaker.
Grate the lemon peel and add the yeast.
Make the dough on the sweet bread program and let it ferment for 90 minutes.
The fermented dough is divided into three. Braid is made. Form a round loaf.
Put in a baking tray with 22 cm. Let ferment for about 90 more minutes.
Bake the leavened sweet bread in an oven previously heated to 160°C in the lower part for about 40 minutes.
