I just found out I have Cree blood in me (I believe we are from the Enoch First Nation in the Edmonton area, mom was born in Kelowna, and I also have German and Scottish in me). I was adopted at birth and have just reunited with my birth mother. I’m grateful for your videos.

Your audio is very low in these videos. I would suggest to moving the mic closer, using a better mic or make adjustments in editing to fix it. good stuff keep it up.

@@creephrases6204 Good to hear. I was wondering if you could do something that would help teach thoses that were not rasied around the language. I mean for whitey lol, I want to learn the language, but as an non-indigenous canadian it feels like the gate is closed to me. Like I am able to get words but it feels like the important stuff is hidden from outsiders. I just wanna be able to speak the language of all the people in my area, but cree seems hidden (more likely destroyed, but thats how it feels)

Her Cree is different from other Cree. I don't know if you know this, so this for those who don't; there are Four dialects with numerous Cree reserves from BC, across the Prairies and going into Quebec, there's even Crees in the States. With a huge land base, there will be of course differences in how Cree is spoken from region to region, rez to rez and even between families.
