this thing looks awesome. my old sit and climb is still the best stand i've used for stealth, portability, and ease of climbing. one thing that would be nice would be a way to lock the sit bar in the upright our straight out in front of you position like if you wanted to; use it as a gun rest, take a nap and have an extra level of protection, rest our arms out on it.

I love the look of this climber and I use climbers on public land a lot. So I can't wait for this stand to be released. However my only concern is if edges of the metal are as Sharp as the other lcwg hang on stands and climbing sticks. If so will they start cutting the belts as the stand is being used cause I know the edges cut the webbing straps. Please for everyone safety and my own make sure this won't be an issue before this climber is released.

You didn’t mention if the adjustment levers that hold the belt to the stand were changed. The original levers on the Alpha are not user friendly at all. Have you ever tried using wax to make the levers easier to use? I've never used a climber but Dan infalt has a video out on how to maintain your climber and the biggest complaint with them is after a while, those little latch lever get stiff,..put a little wax in there and you'll be good to go

Amazing thought process placed in this from a guy who has the brains to develop ideas, and experience from the woods. And looks like I can get traction belts again to freshen up my 2 hand climbers. Being on private land, I leave my stands in the woods.

I have an alpha and can’t use it. I have a hard time with the little knobs on the risers and find it difficult to release and reengage the cams on the belts, especially with cold fingers. The cams need more mechanical advantage and the knobs are just well poor. Sounds like the riser system on this new hand climber may be a good improvement there, but the cams are just too hard. Yeah they lock in great but I really struggle with them. I do like the large (long) original platform. 24 for me is a little short.
