Solid video! Did you have to change the stock bar mount bracket to install the Bung King riser? Thx

Good vid. Quick question, did you have to drill or cut any part of the bike?

Nope! Works fine with everything stock, no cutting required.

I bought a similar set up from spadys, did you have to extend your clutch and brake cable??

Looks good. To be only 10 Inches your arms look pretty high on the bars. I might go this route or 12" tbar set-up from WCT

The only Lucky Daves riser bars I can find now look to not be predrilled for internal wiring. Did yours come with holes? Still happy with setup?
@JonsMotorcycles

Mine were pre-drilled for internal wiring, as well as the edges of the bars are cut for throttle by wire. Still like the setup.

Awesome video! Do you have any part numbers? ( especially the cable clamps and bushings) thanks man
@JonsMotorcycles
3 жыл бұрын
56298-03A is the bushings from Harley. I don't have the part numbers from Harley for the clutch/brake perch clamps, however if you go to your local dealer just tell them its the clutch and brake perch clamp from the '18-up softails. Or you can go aftermarket, that's typically much more expensive.

Does the perch clamp need to be changed because of the different diameter Of handlebar?
@JonsMotorcycles
3 жыл бұрын
It's actually because the bagger clamps have a standoff on the back of the clamp, and the stock bars have a hole to accommodate this. It limits how much you can rotate your controls, which limits adjustability. If you wanted to you could take a dremel to the standoff and use the stock clamps, however I think buying the softail ones results in a cleaner look for not much more $$.

How bad was it to run the wires through everything?
@JonsMotorcycles
2 жыл бұрын
It's pretty tough on the bars, they're my favorite bend however lucky daves leaves some machining burs on the inside so the wires tend to get caught. It was really easy to run them through the risers. Make sure you do all the cables for each side at once, don't try to run the cables one at a time.

Jon what size hole did you end up drilling with the lucky Dave’s bar
@JonsMotorcycles

I didn’t have to drill, it’s just the lucky Dave’s bar and the riser is bungking.

@JonsMotorcycles
2 жыл бұрын
You do lose visibility of the speedometer from about 0-40 and tach from 0-1500 or so. You can still see it if you move around but from where you normally sit you'll lose about a quarter of the gauge.
