Watching that group formed at 710yds was jaw dropping. Through the scope I have seen “dot” on target getting slightly larger with each hit . I knew that Luke is punching the same spot. Yes, it’s only 3 rds, but at that distance, I will take that 😀

I really enjoy the spotter/commentator's enthusiasm and engagement in this! It really makes the experience much more enjoyable to watch. My dad was a Desert Storm vet. (he's passed away now) and my favorite day was when he took me to the range with our Remington 700 and Leupold spotting scope and taught me how to spot and snipe when I was 8. I will never forget that range day! Thank you for the video and for evoking a sense of nostalgia in me haha. God bless :)

I’ve shot the civilian version; the MRAD in .338 Lap. The action is nice and smooth. Good trigger. And it shot a .398 group without the can. With a Silencerco Hybrid 46 it shot a .368. That was at 100 yards using a bipod and rear bag. IMO this is the best sniper weapons system ever fielded by the Army. Good enough for the Corps to also adopt it.

How practical is it to change calibers with one scope? Seems like you would be constantly adjusting your zero.
@VintageRiflesShootersClub
11 ай бұрын
Hi, not really, you just remember offset for different barrels. So let's say you were zeroed for 7.62x51 (308), but when you put 300Norma barrel, you are 1.5Mil down and 1.5mil right - and that's your offset or just dial the value on the turrets. When you change barrels, settings are repeatable.
@Skullduggerous_pirate
11 ай бұрын
Like Rob said, it’s repeatable. But we will typically train with .308 for a few reasons and throw on .300 Norma for deployments.
@Robbietubbs2000
