In 1920, Vic Cumberland returned to St Kilda to become the oldestVFL/AFL player in history, at 43 years, 50 days old. For nearly 100 years, despite the evolution of athletes and the AFL, no one else joined him in the 40 Club. In this video, The GAZ-man goes through the five 38-year-olds to have played in the AFL era, to see if they too could have joined the one man to do what Vic did.
