This is my take on "THE BEST BROWNIES" recipe - if it takes two dozen ingredients and three days to make, it may well make the best brownies but it definitely isn't the best brownies *recipe*. The best recipes are the ones you will go back to again and again. The kind that are so simple, you just need to let the best ingredients shine. Use a good cocoa powder and a good dark chocolate, and it'll be hard to make a bad brownie. I used Valhrona cocoa & Callebaut dark chocolate, which are premium quality and great values if you buy in bulk from amazon. You can find smaller portions from Whole Foods or Sur La Table, but the per-oz price tend to be much higher.
