Hello sir, if a person goes to Germany on student visa masters degree can he take his spouse with himself together or the spouse can join later and how much time would that take?
@TravelCuddlers23
6 күн бұрын
If a person is going to Germany on a student visa for a master's degree, they typically cannot take their spouse along right away. The spouse would need to apply for a dependent visa later, after the student has completed the required formalities in Germany, such as registering with the university and securing accommodation. The processing time for a dependent visa can vary, but it generally takes around 2-4 months after submission of the application. It’s important to check the specific requirements with the consulate or embassy, as additional documents like proof of financial means, accommodation, and health insurance will be needed for the dependent visa.

Hi, congratulations, 1. Can we apply for a 6-month visa? 2. is there any alternative for the Bolck amount 3. If we want a 1-year visa for that can we show a 6-month block amount and for the remaining 6 months can we show a support letter from the parents.

Thanks!! 1. Yes, you can apply for a 6-month visa. They will ask you about the duration during your visa interview. 2. Instead of a blocked account, you can provide a bank statement showing your financial situation over the past 3 months as proof of funds. 3. For a 1-year visa, you generally need to show proof of funds for the entire duration. Either a blocked account for the full year or a support letter from someone already living in Germany could work. However, it's important to provide strong financial documentation to avoid any complications.

Thank you! First of all, congratulations on your decision to move to Germany. In terms of timing, I would strongly recommend booking your VFS appointment as soon as possible. On the Videx form, you can mention your intended travel date in December. Keep in mind that there is typically a long waiting period for appointments, so applying in November may cut it close. If you apply now, you might just get an interview slot by the end of November. After the interview, it can take around one month or more for the visa processing to complete. This timeline is based on the process at the New Delhi embassy, so make sure to account for possible delays. Good luck with your application!

It’s best to focus on showcasing your regular/full-time Bachelor’s degree and avoid highlighting your distance learning Master’s degree, as it might not be valued equally in the points system. Additionally, you only need to worry about points if your Bachelor’s degree or university isn’t recognised in the ANABIN database. As for your work experience, definitely include it-it will strengthen your application. Relevant professional experience, especially in your current role as a network engineer, can be a valuable asset in your Opportunity Card application.

@TravelCuddlers23

Based on my experience, the authorities do verify if “Regular” or “Full-time” is mentioned on your degree or marksheet. If it’s not explicitly stated, they may ask for an authorized letter from your college to confirm it. However, if your degree is listed in the ANABIN database, and it mentions that distance learning is accepted, then it should be recognized for the Opportunity Card. For example, certain degrees like BCom have been accepted even with distance learning as per ANABIN. Additionally, with 13 years of job experience, you might still be eligible under Option 2, which considers points based on work experience, language skills, and other factors. You could explore that route to strengthen your application.

Thank you so much for your message! In my case, I brought all my original documents, but they didn't check them. However, I strongly recommend bringing your original documents for safety. For experience letters, if you have the originals, take them along. If not, photocopies should be fine, and you can also inform them that you have digital copies if needed. They usually don't insist on original experience letters, but it's always good to be prepared. They asked several questions during the interview, and we're currently working on a detailed video about that, as it's quite a lengthy topic. Stay tuned to our channel for more in-depth insights on the entire visa process, including tips to make your Opportunity Card application stand out. After booking an appointment through the VFS Portal, there is typically a 1-2 month waiting period before you can schedule a visa interview. Thank you, and congratulations to you as well for applying! Regarding the waiting period, it’s important to keep checking both your VFS portal and your email, including the spam or junk folder, as sometimes these emails can get misdirected. Additionally, please double-check that the email registered with VFS is correct. If everything seems fine and you haven’t received anything yet, unfortunately, waiting is the only option. Even VFS customer service would likely give you the same response, as they are processing applications in order. I understand it can be frustrating, but hopefully, your turn will come soon!

Once your visa interview is completed, it may take around a couple of months to receive your passport with the valid visa stamped. After that, the visa will be valid for either 6 months or 1 year, depending on the option you chose. The visa's start date will align with the estimated arrival date you mentioned in your VIDEX form, along with the start dates of your health insurance and accommodation. From that start date, you can travel to Germany at any time while your visa remains valid. Ensure all your arrangements are in place before your visa begins.

Yes, a savings account balance of around ₹12 lakhs should be sufficient. Be sure to provide bank statements covering at least the last 3 months, and if possible, 6 months for added security. If you're in Germany on a job-seeking visa and want to switch to an Opportunity Card, here's what you should do: 1. Check Eligibility: Make sure you qualify for the Opportunity Card based on your education, work experience, or other requirements. 2. Collect Documents: Gather the necessary documents, like your certificates, proof of funds, health insurance, and accommodation details. 3. Book an Appointment: Schedule a visit to the local immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) to apply for the switch. 4. Fill Out the Form: Complete the application form for the Opportunity Card, which you can do online or at the appointment. 5. Pay Fees: Be prepared to pay any fees for the visa conversion. 6. Wait for Approval: After submitting your application, wait for the decision. If you're unsure about anything, consider getting advice from an immigration expert in Germany.

Yes, it is mandatory to have ‘Full-time’ or ‘Regular’ mentioned on your degree, even if both your university and course are listed in the Anabin database. In cases where this isn’t stated on the degree itself, you’ll need to obtain an official letter from your college or university. This letter should be on the institution’s letterhead, signed, and stamped, clearly stating that your degree was pursued on a regular, full-time basis, along with your name, roll number, and any other identifying details.

If you've completed the B1 course at the Goethe Institute and received a participation certificate, it's important to note that this usually confirms attendance rather than proficiency. For the Opportunity Card, you’ll likely need an official exam certificate that demonstrates your B1 level proficiency, not just course completion. If you haven’t already taken and passed the B1 exam, it’s recommended to do so and submit that exam certificate with your application.

@TravelCuddlers23

While a deportation from the U.S. doesn’t automatically prevent your friend from applying for the Opportunity Card, it could make the application process more challenging. The German authorities might look more closely at the reasons behind the deportation. Your friend should be ready to explain what happened and provide any documents that can help clarify the situation. It’s important to be honest in the application. The outcome will depend on the specifics of the deportation and how the German authorities view it. It might be a good idea for your friend to talk to an immigration lawyer to understand the risks and improve the chances of success.

How many months should we have to apply jobs to show in Visa Interview
@TravelCuddlers23
Ай бұрын
The number of months you should apply for jobs before your visa interview depends largely on how recruiters are responding to your applications. Even just a few positive responses from recruiters indicating that they are interested in your profile and would be happy to interview you once you’re in Germany can be sufficient. These responses can help convince the visa officials that the only thing standing between you and a job is the visa itself. The key is to show that you are actively engaging with the job market and that there is genuine interest in your skills from German employers. This can strengthen your case during the visa interview.

What about funds information/ blocked account
@TravelCuddlers23
Ай бұрын
Regarding funds for the Opportunity Card, you have a few options: 1. Blocked Account: This is a common method where you deposit a specific amount in a German bank account, which is then "blocked" to ensure you have enough funds to cover your stay. The amount is typically €1,027 per month, so for a 12-month stay, you would need approximately €12,324. This blocked account shows that you can support yourself financially while searching for a job. 2. Bank Statements: If you have sufficient funds in your existing bank account, you can provide bank statements as proof instead of a blocked account. For this, you need to show at least 3 months of bank statements with the required balance maintained. To be extra secure, providing 6 months of statements is advisable, especially if you have consistently maintained the necessary balance. 3. Family Support: If you have family in Germany, a formal invitation or support letter from them can be an alternative to showing full funds. This letter should indicate that they will financially support you during your stay. Hello, thank you for reaching out. To apply for the Chancenkarte (Opportunity Card) for Germany, your qualifications will be a key factor. Since you have a Diploma of Associate Engineer in Civil Technology, you’ll need to check if your diploma is recognized in Germany. You can do this through the ANABIN database, which evaluates foreign qualifications. Additionally, you’ll need to meet other requirements, such as proof of sufficient funds, and ideally some initial job prospects or interest from German employers. Since you’re currently in Romania, you’ll need to research whether you can apply from Romania or if you will need to return to Pakistan to submit your application. As of now, we are more familiar with the process for applying from one’s home country, so it’s important to verify if the German consulate in Romania handles such applications.
