With the doors on, that thing is HEAVY!!! I'll use the car lift next time to carefully place it back on the frame when fully finished :)

Those furniture movers seem to work well and are a fraction of the cost of the "automotive" versions. Hey, if it works, ....

Harbor Freight... I picked up a bunch of them years ago... I think they were $6 each at the time :) They do work well to move vehicles around :)

I used a '92 Chevy S10 Regular cab Regular bed frame..... to do it "properly" you need a regular cab LONG bed frame.... I'm building a shorty truck.

Didn’t show in the video...did you end up using those stock rear cab shackle mounts and how did you mount them with the code504 mounts. Or did you just take them off and directly mount the cab to the code504 stuff?

I’m building my first 50 gmc and I’m sort of following your lead

I'll be taking off the original shackles and getting rid of them. I directly mounted the body to the Code504 crossmember using 2 of the silicone bushings the kit comes with. I talk about it in the video at the 5:50 point, hope that helps a little :) kzitem.info/news/bejne/pKqgmWxpe5Seo5w

Why not finish cab off the frame? Easier!
