I remember feeling like I was trapped in my life and I was always looking for freedom and I felt like the lyrics of this song summed up this feeling. The song was, kind of, compassionate. Listening to "Wild Wood" this evening, with things in my life becoming clearer, I feel like I'm finally coming out of the confusion. Thank you Mr Weller for sympathising with me through your song. You've really helped me. BTW, your voice is absolutely gorgeous and I love this clip!

My dad grew up on King's Rd with The Clash, Sex Pistols etc The Jam/Paul Weller have stayed the test of time. His lyrics, melodies, are timeless - proof is in the pudding 3 generations of my family will testify to that. This song especially (from his solo stuff) means so much to me. Anyway I can talk shite all day, cheers guys 🤘🏼
