There is so much prep that goes into completing a 100 mile race.
And this one ain't just any old 100 miler, this is the grand daddy of all races, UTMB!
We're 6 weeks from race day and all the details are beginning to fall into place, however there's still a lot of training to do! Fitting in all the running, preparations, build-up racing, and travel takes significant planning. But it's necessary to make best prepare myself to cross the finish line.
Today I'm squeezing in a base run session with some strength work, and this weekend I'll be running through the heat at Elder Canyon Night Runs for a build-up 50k.
How do I fit in all the work that UTMB Ultra training requires?
Planning, Planning, Planning.
I brought in a coach to help me this time around: The great Zach Bitter.
Head to his site and hit him up, I promise he'll help you for whatever your race and training goals might be.

And give his podcast a listen, too. There's lots of helpful Ultra running info on every single episode.
