Plum Curculio is definitely biting my peaches, laying eggs and trying to finish its life cycle. It's a pest that is a huge detriment for stone fruits, pears and even apples. Picking up dropped fruit and disposing of it is our best defense outside of spraying insecticide shortly after fruit set. Alternatively bagging would have probably been best as that would have prevented the problem completely.
Although this has mostly been bad. Now I know what to expect in future years growing fruit on my property. Enjoy.
