“Prisma” is the first song that Dardust, pseudonym of Dario Faini, composed during his trip to Edinburgh in 2018. The title was chosen because it represents, according to the artist, «a symbol of creativity and music, which saved me, tearing me from a black hole in which I had ended up, thus being able to create a better version of myself». This sort of elaboration of a mourning on oneself towards rebirth, for a clear assonance, immediately evoked within me the memory of “Un homme, une femme”, a 1966 masterpiece, directed by Maestro Claude Lelouch, powerfully immersed in the same feeling of Dardust’s song. It went without saying, then, to make the music and the images collide in a single work.
