At present the observatory is being powered over a long extension cable through the garden and I really don't like it.
This project is focused on installing a solar panel and battery storage system into the observatory.
Part 1 takes a look at the design I have come up with and the hardware I have purchased to start the build. After a lot of reading and browsing, decided to go with @VictronEnergyBV products for the core of the build. List of components below.
