@Taylor Moneypenny ... The overall experience feels great in PYS overall. Difficult to play any other simulation baseball game besides PYS.

Pro Yakyuu Spirits has many camera variations to the homerun trot around the bases. You never know which version you’ll get, which is another reason why I love this game. This was a fairly condensed version. But I never ever seen that hand shake celebration ever until today.

@@corderoismael23 ....I’m not sure, but this is what I wrote to another person asking: ‘’ .. Konami said they would include free roster updates. I’m not sure if it’s automatically done or the user needs to download it. @t The only thing I can think of is (if/when) you open the game, check the roster for the any team, and note the roster (using jersey number, because I can’t read the names), and tell me what they are, so I can compare them to my existing roster on my game.’

Wow, Konami you are killing me. Just release this with English menus and I shall buy it in a heart beat. Such smooth gameplay. Now I am finding it hard to play The Show after seeing these gameplay vids from PYS. This game is so much better than The Show. Sony San Diego you folks better improve your core mechanics next year on PS5.

@Wajahat Ali.... That’s pretty much what happened to me years ago. I use to love MLB the Show (played it from 09 to 14, 16). MLB the Show 14 is when I discovered PYS 06 and 2015. I was hesitant to invest my time with PYS because of the language barrier. I gave MLB the Show one last chance with 16, couldn’t take the animations anymore and completely made the switch to Jikkyou first (2016, 2018), and eventually PYS 2019.

@@strawberryyogurt0 Dude, how do you navigate through menus and understand during game screens that are in Japanese? How did you adjust playing a game in foreign language when you first got PYS 2019?

@@wajahatali1234 .... www.spiritstranslation.com/game-menu I played some PYS in 2015 but just exhibition games. The same with PYS 2019. To navigate the menus I either use the above website or google translate app. You could take a picture of the Japanese words and the app will translate. Or you could write the words in the app and it’ll translate as effectively as possible. But if I want to dive deeper into the game, I would have to spend some time with it.

Is the online playable for US players? As in no lag? Just bought this on Amazon for $50
@strawberryyogurt0

@tim lom .. My preference is offline (even with US domestic sports games) so unfortunately I don’t have knowledge on that front. However, the game will often have daily ‘information’ posted surrounding the game itself or other non-gaming information, so I’m assuming that’s an indicator that the online modes are also available worldwide to anyone with access to the game.

@@strawberryyogurt0 yea Not a big deal if it isn't playable online honestly just happy to play something different than the show. I love the pitching mechanics and movement in this..something the show def lacks

@@tke7749 ... True. Pro Yakyuu Spirits is currently my one and only baseball game choice even though I love Major League Baseball. Quite frankly, I’m not expecting much from The Show on the PS5 if they continue to use the same 3D animators. I only bought 2 versions of the Show this gen (2014, 2016), and don’t plan to ever again until SCEA absolutely blows me away with all around realistic movements. I finally made my first ever tweets to the developers with 2 comparison vids, and if they don’t revamp their animations, it would be a shame. I had to re-edit the vids below so I could fit them onto twitter, but at least the developers should see the problems.
