Somewhere there’s a drawer or cabinet with a giant gravitational pull that has captured AB’s collection of lost cocktail equipment. It occasionally releases one or two pieces, but it holds on to everything else which results in a frantic search for a muddler, strainer, or mixing glass.

Why why why do people have to ruin it. You watch Good Eats because you were taught something. It was explained in a way that was enjoyable and not PREACHING. Good God we are here for the entertainment and if he want to add some knowledge to the mix, I am all for it. I am learning about cooking oils because I am too trying to finds new ways to cook for my family. I found Avocado oil and I love it. Being able to teach my wife why canola oil should be used minimally is priceless. Just calm down god damn it.

It's more fun when they are just being funny and having a good time. Having to apologize or clarify a statement made from a previous show is annoying. I could care less where food is sourced from or how many baby seals were saved because this whatever is being used over this one. Just drink and cook and say whatever the heck you want to!

To rid the pantry of moths; remove everything, clean the shelves and walls thoroughly. Discard all flour, grains, pastas, anything that has been opened. Replace that which has not been discarded. you should be fine at that point. The moths eat the flour/grains etc. Reproduce, laying their eggs and starting over....
Letting the grill go too long will yield some pretty deep rust. One thing, high heat seems to cause the iron in the steel to oxidize.

@FreqBand
3 жыл бұрын
Einkorn is also great for crackers, and REALLY good for a sweet and crumbly pie crust...... the best pie crust I've ever had. ( w/cold flaked butter). If you try Einkorn, remember a few things....... it takes 1/3 less water to hydrate...... it will not become stretchy like other glutinous dough, so stop massaging it for too long, you perverts. It is not gluten-free.
@FreqBand
3 жыл бұрын
Note..... I'm not using "Einkorn flour" simply because it is a trendy "ancient flour". Too many people flaunt it's "magical dietary properties' simply because they like to brag about it's "ancient origin"....... the same way that people believe in ancient Mayan prophesies just because they are old ideas, and therefore better (self exploratory). I like Einkorn because it is great for baking, and has a really great pizza crust crunch. (and you can roll it really thin)

I should clarify I've been working nights for close to 13 years now. Working nights this long, having a drink in the "evening" seems strange. Also, knowing people that don't drink at all is even stranger. Got sidetracked, it took you that long to have a drink.

Solution to pantry moths: Put everything in the pantry that isn't already in glass jars into separate glass jars. (they can eat plastic bags.) Wait and have takeout/fridge food/nothing from pantry until however long the life cycle is that you would see visible moth/larva activity from any remaining eggs. Take all jars with visible moth activity far away from the house, dispose of contents, and wash jars. Leave remaining jars a few more life cycles to make sure to catch any more moth activity.
