Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
After catching the loaded coal train in Dora, I decided to ride down here to watch it pull into the staging yard at this crossing. Once it'd done that, I noticed the signals to the north were still lit, which was a bit odd, but I thought it was due to one of the trains preparing to leave the yard, and the dispatch just hadn't lined the switch yet or something. After a little bit of waiting, however, I decided to leave, and as I was pulling away from Quinton, I heard the 709.9 detector go off again over my scanner. As such, I quickly turned back around and was just able to get set-up in time for this second southbound coal train pulling into the staging yard here with a pair of SD70ACes on the head-end with a pair of ES44ACs and another SD70ACe working as the rear DPUs!
As you can see, thankfully nothing has changed here since I last recorded this crossing back in 2019, and hopefully nothing here changes soon, or at least hopefully the GS Type 1 here remains for many more years to come.
