Watching the decline of Bret Hart every week is so sad. It's also really fascinating. For what they were paying him it just shows that WCW ran out of good ideas before he'd even got to the company.

They peaked with the formation of the original nwo really.. after that it was a slow, gradual decline for wcw, with some highs in between to be sure, but it was mostly downhill after that

Brisco and Patterson during this run were the perfect combination of stooge comedy around Vince, always screwing things up and taking bumps as good as they did in the golden era to take the edge off the seriousness which was always entertaining to watch. I have pictures with them around this time still hanging on my office wall.

I love the "Ravens flock is going to eat good tonight" line. There needs to be a kayfabe cannibal stable on a major promotion. Also, props on the way you handle channel updates on your videos. I'm sure there's a temptation to go on a gripefest but to have the full intro done at about 2 mins, while still being candid about your frustrations is great. You have great instincts for stuff like that.

As someone who didn’t get to grow up in the attitude era this is the best way for me to catch up. I’ve tried just watching WWf from start to finish and it wasn’t working. I look forward to every Thursday because it’s like a 1 hour wrestling history show which is perfect. Thank you so much. I can’t imagine how much time this takes to make and I appreciate it so much.

Marc Curtis (RIP) was always one of my favorite referees in the 90s in any organization because of his enthusiasm during the match and the way he sold every move right along with the wrestlers involved in the match

Oooh I've been waiting for this. I'm pretty sure this is the episode I first started watching WWF on the regular. (I glanced at WCW occasionally, but seeing where it was at this point, it's clear why I stuck with WWF). I had no idea who Dustin was at the time so I was just confused by this Goldust vanishing as I've never seen the guy before! It's also sort of clear why Owen was in the Nation (even as a kid I thought it was odd, but cool that he was among their ranks). Thank you for the entire re-living the war, you put a lot of my youth watching this stuff into some form that really shows how we got there.

For various reasons this is one Nitro episode I vividly remember. To me this was actually one of the high points for WCW. The NWO split was interesting as was the developments with Bret Hart and Chris Jericho. 'Ya' know, it's not easy to be a hero'. Indeed it is not.
