We are at Ananthapur to taste the Uggani.
Here puri and Uggani Baji are sold. This point is started on 1982 and still running successfully.
Firstly, uggani is soaked in water. Onions, tomato, green chilli, curry leaves are fried in oil then uggani is transfered to this pan and mixed well by adding turmeric powder and salt. All the ingredients are used freshly and chopped based on requirement.
Uggani is served with bajji and podi. Daily a minimum of 50 kgs uggani is sold. Uggani tastes good with bajji and podi while eating we can feel the softness of uggani and crunchy spicy taste of bajji.
Uggani bajji costs Rs.30(2 bajji)
