I remember the day they announced Roger's Miller death on the radio...I sat down and cried. He was only 56 years old, and passed away due to cancer. I've rarely cried over entertainer's deaths...but I was such a fan of his. Also teared up when Elvis, John Lennon, John Denver, David Bowie, James Arness, John Wayne, and Michael Conrad's deaths were announced. For those who don't recall...Michael Conrad was in a good number of movies, but in the last part of his life, made famous in Hill Street Blues, as the character of Sgt. Phil Esterhaus - and his famous line... "Let's Be Careful Out There" I think this Disney song he did is one of the best ever...and I also love Whistlestop : )
