RECIPE BELOW: This rich savory thick gravy noodle dish has a combination of three proteins along with the smoky, earthy woodsy flavors from the mushrooms, wood ears, and lily buds. This is a northern Chinese comfort food! ENJOY!
Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
• 3/4-1# wheat noodles or other noodles of choice, thin, med or thick
• 2 oz/16 small shrimp, shelled & deveined
• 2 oz chicken meat, thin shred
• 2 oz pork tenderloin, sliced thin
• 4 Dried Chinese mushrooms, soaked , remove stems & thin sliced
• 1 LG or 2 Med Dried wood ears, soaked & thin sliced
• 1/4 C Dried lily flowers, soaked
• 1 C Reserved soaking liquid
• 1 small zucchini, thin shred
• 4 Shanghai bok choy, cut in half
• 2 eggs
• 6 C chicken stock (4 C for poaching + 2 C for gravy)
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1" knob ginger, peeled & minced
• 2 green onions, minced
• 1 Tbsp Soy sauce
• 1 Tsp Sesame oil
• 1 Tbsp Shaoxing wine
• 1 Tbsp Oyster sauce

• Cornstarch slurry (5 Tbsp cornstarch mixed with 7 Tbsp water ) or more as needed to desired thickness
• Oil for cooking
