Sage Hills located in the neighborhood of Wenatchee, WA is one of the most popular hiking destinations in the spring time. Not only do these rolling hills offer views of the Wenatchee valley, Columbia river and the North Cascades, they also have an abundant wildflower scene: yellow arrowleaf balsam root, purple lupines, wild sage just to name a few.
You can do a shorter 5.5 mile roundtrip hike to get to the wildflowers or take the longer loop ranging from 12-13.5 miles, depending on which trailhead you park in.
These trails open April 1st and close December 1st, and parking is limited in the neighborhood, so plan accordingly. No parking pass is needed to park at the trailhead, just be respectful of the neighborhood and park only in the allotted parking spots.
