On our gas line R.O.Ways we have carsonite markers about 6 to 7' outta the ground . For visability we will tie fluorescence ribbon to the tops of markers. Sometimes this prevents them from getting brush hogged down. But I think sometimes its a game for the guy on the tractor to mow as many down as he can. They won't damage a brush hog or mower. Metal Tee Posts would most likely destroy a mower.
@sam-and-angela
3 жыл бұрын
I'll add flags/ribbons to the posts to help. Here's hoping they pay attention though! It's in our contract that we were placing metal t posts where we did. LOL to the ROW mowers... they're known to decimate things in our area, too. Must only play heavy metal music in the cabs for them to listen to. :)

So adorable. I would love an ewok village too🤫, your never too old to enjoy a tree fort. My 15 year old wants to drag one of our shipping containers down to the creek and make it into his man cave 🤣. Nice land you have there, and it's nice to have good helpers . There will be lots of work to get it all fenced in, one tool to add to you kit is a good T-post driver. once you have one you want want to use a hammer again to set your T-posts, and with the fencing a head of you it will be one of the best tools to have. enjoy your land

We're considering some cattle, but don't want to jump into animals too quickly on the land. We want to be careful not to overdo ourselves.
