Ingredients Needed:
- I used a 6.5 Lb. Brisket Flat for this recipe. The butcher also left a small portion of the point on it as well cause it apparently wasn't cut correctly but I couldn't tell until I unpackaged it entirely. It wasn't perfect looking but it turned out AWESOME!
Directions:
- Trim your brisket of silver skin and excess fat to your liking. Be sure to leave some fat to render and provide a protective layer from the heat source. Season and then Smoke your brisket at 225 degrees Fahrenheit until it reaches a temperature of 150-160 degrees Fahrenheit (or until it hits the "stall"). Then wrap your brisket in foil (double layer) along with some more Montreal steak seasoning and Worcestershire Sauce for added flavor. Once your brisket reaches 200-205 degrees Fahrenheit internal temperature, remove from the grill and wrap in towels and/or place into a cooler for a MINIMUM of 1 hour. Unwrap, slice and ENJOY!!!
