Ingredients:
Palak/Spinach - 1 bunch
Butter - 1 tbsp
Cloves - 2
Bay leaf - 1
cinnamon stick - 1 inch
Chopped garlic - 8-9 cloves
Chopped onion - 1 big size
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Black salt - 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Corn flour - 1 tsp
Milk - 100 ml
Fresh cream - 2 tsp
Method:
1. Hear butter in a pan.
2. Add bay leaf and cinnamon stick.
3. Add cloves.
4. Fry for a minute.
5. Add chopped garlic & fry for a minute.
6. Add chopped onion.
7. Fry for 4 minutes on low to medium flame.
8. Now add spinach(Palak) & mix well.
9. Cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
10. Remove & discard cinnamon stick & bay leaf.
11. Transfer to a mixer jar add 60 ml water and make a fine paste.
12. Add paste into the same pan & add little water in same mixer jar & add 60ml of water.
13. Give a good boil.
14. Add salt, black salt & pepper powder and mix well( If black salt unavailable add same quantity of salt).
15. Add corn flour to milk and mix well & add the mixture to the pan.
16. Give a good stir and cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
17. Check the consistency.
18. Transfer to a serving bowl and add 1 tsp of cream.
19. Healthy creamy tasty palak soup ready to relish.
