Guided follow along breathing exercise: 8mins
This breath work is perfect for slowly getting comfortable with breath control and slight urge to breathe whilst all in a relaxed state, perfect for beginner freedive training not to be put off by intense C02 tables. Nostril breathing boosts Nitric oxide production and promotes mindful focused breathing, mindful focus is an important skill for freediving, start training your focus now.
Square breathing and alternate nostril breathing:
5 sec Inhale
5 sec Breath hold
5 sec Exhale
5 sec Breath hold
Please note:
If you are finding the breath holds too long please reduce the timing until you feel comfortable enough to progress. Also if you want to progress with more of a challenge, extend the breath hold times.
This sequence is relaxing and can be performed any where, use head phones for best sound quality.
Perfect before meditation, you don't even have to know how to freedive!
