Getting bored with your normal off ice routine? In this video I have some stair exercises you can do to help you with you skating!
Make sure to always wear your gym shoes and if you have a railing, utilize it if you are new to the exercise or not feeling comfortable. Lot's of these exercises can be done off the stairs as well.
When we are doing these exercises, we want to make sure we are taking our time when we are first starting out. As you get more comfortable with the exercise, try to make it quicker. Also remember you want to be quiet. No stomping feet. Land through the toes, not flat footed.
As you are doing these, start with doing 10 and work your way up to 20.
