Great British way of turning someone's crappy work into new version of more advance crappiness :D Most shocking stuff is... folks in UK actually pay for stuff like this and in many cases even admire the workmanship and high finish quality :D :D :D

Holy crap! I’m assuming that you don’t have/own/borrow any clamps mate?! Instead of staking all of that shite on two pieces of timber, just get a couple of clamps. Soak the boards, clamp them together (for 24 hours), have a pint and POOF! all better! Cheers!

Thanks for this video! Do you reckon this method will also work with a 100 yrs old warped panel door?

Give it a go, but careful with the saw cuts if the piece is irreplaceable.

Why does wood warp? I had 3 sheets of wood that were brand new, I had to cut them in the middle for my project, I left them in my garage so no water could go near them, I come back 4 days later and some of them have warped which makes them useless for what I need, I don't know why they did that, not all of them warped either.

I'm no expert but I do know that it is about moisture loss and moisture gain. The moisture content of the boards when bought was probably high.when you brought them home they probably dried out or the whole process could have been just the opposite. Either way putting a coat of primer on it sides and letting the boards acclimate slowly might have helped.

I'm guessing you mean is it still fixed? If so, yes the remedy worked and the skirts are still in fine form. sorry for the late response. Alan

When that immense precarious final stack showed up at 6:57, that was a great belly-laugh for me. *Also, thanks for demonstrating this practical technique.
