I get so infuriated listening to the story of Kim Wall, what audacity gall this little piece of $hit had to think he could just take this woman's life, and show up ashore as if nothing happened. The tragedy detailed in that last photo taken of her is telling. Madsen purposely with his head turned, knowing he was going to murder this woman, as if somehow if he's not photographed it means he was never there. And poor Kim innocently imagining she'd spend an evening with a normal successful inventor, prepared to be amazed by what she assumed was a man with a great story. Wrong. A sexual deviant instead.

This just goes to show you that some people are so determined to do something evil, they won't wait until the cover of darkness or concern themselves with being inconspicuous, they'll do it in the spotlight. im a little dissapointed with how the video is stuffed with various irrelevant stock footage and photos.. there is an abundance of documented images and footage available online that could have been used.. also the music choice is questionable, a hawaiian slide guitar style slow tune fits a more relaxed and blissful summer vibe, where this takes place in spring in denmark, so giving the video a more dark/ominous/chilling undertone would have been more effective at connecting the viewer to the roots of the story. otherwise i do appreciate the effort, research, and the story telling, lots of details and i really liked the clips you did choose that were taken at the time of the incident. Mixing stock clips/images can really confuse the viewer making it so that even the real footage of the people involved begins to seem like stock footage also / blurring the lines between legit footage and stock
@TheLifeTheyStole

Hey catdog! Thanks for your detailed and honest review. I reccomend you check out my latest video on the channel and see how much of an improvement I made with the flow of the video using stock and using more real pictures. This is actually the first video I ever made and looking back see a lot of the things you’re talking about. I can’t begin to tell you how much I learned about video editing from these first three videos. My goal is to actually film all of my own footage in the future and not use stock at all! What’s kept me from being able to do that is not having the funds for a professional cinematic camera, but that has recently changed. I have a few short film projects in the works before I return to this true crime channel, but one day would like to return with all of my own footage. Please check out the latest video on this channel to see the improvement. It’s still not all there but it’s much better. These videos were just a test run to learn how to edit. Thanks so much for watching and caring enough to leave me your opinion!
