Watching this in theaters when the remaser came out was probably the most moving experience Ive ever had, in any song, any film, any concert. Byrne is a genius.

I loved David Byrne and Talking Heads songs from this period. It was the best I could connect with and seeing Tina is just a blessing.

When I was a baby, I always used to imagine people at a party leaving and then coming back immediately hearing the lyric from this song “when this party’s over, it will start again”

I saw this film in various theaters. again and again back in 1984-85. If the band in heaven play my favorite songs, maybe this'll be one of them.

this song always reminds me of the end of the narnia books. spoiler but at the end of the last book after they save narnia it’s revealed that the train the kids were supposed to be on in the real world crashed meaning they’re presumed dead so they can stay in narnia forever. and they can run as long as they want without getting tired and there’s all their favorite types of food. knowing c. s. lewis it was definitely a stand-in for heaven. as a kid i remember thinking “wow… so they just get everything they want all the time? that would definitely get boring at some point.” this song gives me the same feeling. call me cynical but that’s just what i think! i love this song though

I don't understand KZitem's criteria. I posted this same video long before this post here, and it had already reached the incredible milestone of over 1 million views. However, without further explanation, after more than 5 years on my channel, the platform deleted the video claiming copyright infringement, but kept this one and others. That's not fair!
