Do this tennis drill to learn how to transfer bodyweight forward in forehand shot.
In this video Javi is showing you how a player of any level can work on their forehand bodyweight transfer by using a neutral stance to hit the ball and taking a step forward. This simple exercise will help you work on your biomechanics and coordination in order to have an effective forehand shot. Moreover, beginners will be able to improve their swing technique; intermediate players can practice having a clean contact point with the ball; and advanced players can work on acceleration and power.
We recommend you do 5 sets of 10 balls each and take a short 1-min rest in between. Enjoy!
