Ingredients:
50 g butter
250 grams of sugar
130 ml. Cream (less for hard candies / a little more cream for soft candies)
1 teaspoon vanilla paste (or 1 bag of vanilla sugar / optional)
Preparation:
Stove “short” highest level
Melt the butter completely in the pan
“Middle” level stove
Add sugar and let it dissolve completely
Heat to 140 ° - 160 ° (above 160 ° it gets bitter !!!)
Caramel color / amber color
Lower temperature (stove low setting)
Add vanilla
Stir in cream
Allow to thicken until it becomes thick
Transfer to a small form with baking paper (wet baking paper beforehand)
Chill for 2-4 hours
