I like this channel. Just found it this morning. You are very respectful of The Beatles instead of some channels I've seen that picks them apart. I am a distant cousin of George. Strange story how I found out. Found out a few years after his death unfortunately but have spent time with his sister Louise (me Mum) and occasionally stay in touch other family members. I'm a singer/songwriter myself but I never asked for any help with my music. Just happy to be family. I grew up on their music. I was only 3 when I saw them on Ed Sullivan but I never forgot it. I know all these critic's say they like some of the stuff from Sgt. Peppers forward. I love how they evolved and made Rock-and-roll move light years ahead. I love Beatles '65 and Help and Rubber Soul etc. all while touring a gruelling schedule with all the interviews and craziness like no one had ever seen before and never will again. I don't even try to imitate them when I write but I owe them so much for teaching me song structure to going on tangents and changes. They literally changed the culture of the world. I'm wearing a Beatles shirt as I write this and I just happened to see the channel for the first time. I never made a penny off of being related to one of them and I wouldn't try. It's just so cool to have a drop of Beatle blood running through my veins. Oh yeah!!! ♥️☮️🎶

Distant? If his sister was your mum then George was your uncle.

@@hiataki7 it's complicated. His Mother's maiden name is French which I found out in 1998 but it took a lot of research to confirm. I've never tried to make a penny from being a cousin, I just think it's cool. ❤️☮️🎶

Not necessarily "over"... George, Paul [with Wings, etc.] & Ringo carried on... now, Paul & Ringo.

Hard to put even just their time as the Beatles in a sub 10 minute video, but this isn't bad, especially adding the 70s. There are a lot of facts that need to be stated, but this focuses on their media throughout those years, which is good enough for a basic recap.

Nice job, P. Pate... good to see that *some* people do their "research" [a lot of people dismiss Pete Best as the drummer in 1962, until Ringo (August)] on the facts, instead of just listening (or reading) what others have to say, etc. P.S. Thanks for *not* including "T-M-I", regarding: John Lennon (1980). As I make my own play list, I try to keep that, along with similar info on George to as few details, including any other "tragic stories" on these men.... oh, and those lame-a** "Faul" references. 🙄

Just a thing: Let it Be (previously called Get Back) was recorded in January 1969 but the band did not launched the album until 1970. They didn’t like Glyn Jones’ work and abandoned the project. Abbey Road was also recorded on 1969 and was launched before Let It Be. In 1970, John and George gave the Get Back recordings to Phil Spector, who produced the songs again and the album was renamed Let It Be.

You got some dates wrong: Please Please Me, the first album, was recorded and released in 1963. So between 1963 and 1965 pre-Rubber Soul The Beatles released 5 albums. A Hard Day's Night was released before Beatles For Sale. You totally forgot to mention their early hits that made them superstars (The vast majority of those weren't on the albums). Magical Mystery Tour wasn't an album but a double EP, it was released as an album by Capitol in the US but it wasn't envisioned as such by The Beatles. The Magical Mystery Tour TV movie wasn't released in July 1967 -It wasn't even been conceived by the band then-: It was filmed and released in late 1967. Conversely, Apple Corps wasn't launched in late 1968 but in May of that year, upon the return of the band from India. The Yellow Submarine movie wasn't released in late 1968 as well, but in the summer of that year. Where on earth did you come out with the number 19 as the amount of songs written by The Beatles in India? They were surely more, at least 30 as also stated by John Lennon. Ringo Starr released two albums in 1970 (The other being Beaucoups Of Blues). Not even a mention of Brian Epstein, George Martin or Stuart Sutcliffe (The man who came up with the name The Beatles itself, and was part of the band when they adopted the name just as much as Pete Best) All in all quite a shabby presentation, I'm sorry to point out.
