Hi Kamil, Thank you very much for this informations. I’am glad to see that you are still driving your Opel Ampera. Can you give us a hint about what type of ODBC adapter you use or recommend in your car?
@KamilOslizlo

Hey E-REV Mobility. Sure I'm using both Bluetooth and wifi OBD2 adapter as sometimes as for iPhone you need wifi and for android Bluetooth is enough. If you want to know which I use in particular you can find links to both of them in this video description kzitem.info/news/bejne/r4ylx4WLZoiQdno

Hi Kamil, having recently bought an Ampera, im looking at parts suppliers in Europe. where do you recommend? i was thinking about window regulators in particular.
@KamilOslizlo

Hey! You can buy most of the parts in Opel. I didnt need to buy any Ampera specific parts yet, all I had to buy were Opel generic so it was quite easy to find them online

hi Kamil, short question. do you keep the OBD2 adapter in the slot all the time? Also when you shut down the car. If the car is off there is still a small red dot showing in the OBD2 adapter so I am wondering if that is using power from the starting battery and it can drain the 12V battery in the car?
@KamilOslizlo
3 жыл бұрын
Hey Laurens, well actually I do keep the obd2 for all the time. I have 2 adapters, one for android indeed has red led and it stays on for all the time. However it takes so little energy from 12V battery that I doubt it is a problem.

Thanks for the videos Kamil. Do you think it’s still worth it to get an Ampera? Neither Chevy has presence in EU not I don’t know which service is provided by Opel.

Hey, I think it is still worth to buy Ampera. Opel still services Ampera but in limited amount of shops. It is a great car and with such gas prices it makes a lot of sense to drive on electric

Hi Kamil! I tried to download MyVoltHold, but it seems like they removed it from the Play Store. Can you help me where can i find it in a safe way?

Hey Gabor! Wow I didn't know that it has been removed from Play Store. I have mine installed on the phone but have no clue where you can find a safe copy. The only alternative would be to use my volt control on iPhone I guess.

Thanks Kamil, there's some great information here! I have a 2013 Vauxhall Ampera in the UK, had it about 3 months now, generally love it. The engine warning light has come on though, and was wondering about diagnostics. I may just take it to the Vauxhall dealer, but was wondering if there may be a good app to give me a clue about what going on?
