This was an amazing watch. I feel obligated to tell you that in the 90s I met Thomas Kinkade at a mall. I was 3, my mom and aunt made me wait with them for like an hour, and somewhere I have a photo with him where I look very scared.

That photo is a rare treasure. (Definitely more rare than all of Thomas Kinkade's artwork.)

Another great video. “Thomas Kindade’s Christmas Cottage is the greatest Christmas movie I have ever seen! Next to Thomas Kinkade Christmas Lodge” - Thomas Kinkade. “This movie is bitchin’!” - Ed Aknik.

This cast is actually low key stacked. Can’t believe they dragged Peter O’Toole, Marcia Gay Harden, Mrs Garrett, and the 2nd famous Ashmore twin into this craziness. They even got Santa Claus himself, Ed Asner!?? Awful Christmas movies are truly the gift that will always give!

@@PugMugsly I start my horrible Christmas movie marathon on Monday, and I’ve already made sure to slot this one in as a nice midway point from “decently bad” Christmas movies to “why have you forsaken me” Christmas movies. I feel like this one falls more in the former than the latter! Can’t wait to find out 😂

I must confess I also have multiple copies of this film on DVD. I imported it from the US to UK (yes I actively destroyed the planet for Jared Padalecki) and then they released it over here so of course I had to buy it again. Damn it's terrible but boy is he pretty.

What a cast. Seriously. How about this for irony: Marcia Gay Hardin won an Oscar for a Jackson Pollack biopic. Also, the recently deceased Richard Moll (Nightcourt, Ghost Shark-what the Sharknado movies wished they could have been), Geoffrey Lewis (character actor and father of Juliet Lewis), Chris Elliot (Cabin Boy, Get a Life, Eagle Heart)-among others.

@@PugMugsly Now that I remember, I did catch the end of this movie on The Hallmark Channel one early morning a few years ago (they must've replayed it, to fill 24 hours of xmas). I'm writing this now to recommend a Hallmark movie that I actually enjoyed (un-ironically, if you can believe that). It's called Naughty or Nice (2012). It's goofy fun with a decent message, and it's got a Supernatural connection (Daneelle Ackles, Gabriel Tigerman, and Hillary Burton is married to Jeffrey Dean Morgan)--also has the parents from Family Ties Well, I hope you have a wonderful Hallmark-filled holiday.

Every time you upload a new video, I'm always astounded at the obscure piece of culture you're teaching us about. So many of these things I've never heard of, and so many are unhinged. Thanks for expanding our world! Also, a few years ago I watched Christmas Lodge and it was mostly just sort of strange and boring. Though the old man's sudden outburst about how God brought the main character and Daniel Jackson together caught me off-guard and was unintentionally funny.

Thank you for including the background information about Thomas Kinkade. If you're interested in seeing more details about what a scumbag he really was, I suggest The Dollop's episode about him. Thanks for letting us all know about this disaster of a "movie", you always bring us such wonderfully terrible media to laugh about! BTW, the angry, loudmouthed biker in the DVD extras was NOT a character played by Thomas Kinkade; the biker was his true persona, and the upbeat, happy painter was the character Kinkade played.

Technically, for this video, I did download the software to rip the movie off of the DVD. AND I screen recorded the Amazon version just in case the quality was better. (It was about the same.) So I now kind of have FIVE versions. I should probably download one on an external hard drive, put it in a fireproof box, and bury it in the yard.

@@PugMugsly It's like one of those parodies of some crime or paranormal show recreation where they cast people WAY better looking to play average, schlubby people, lol.
