When guitarist Randy Bachman left the band in 1970, Burton Cummings told him he was making a mistake and would never amount to anything. Randy went on to co-found Bachman-Turner Overdrive, one of the biggest bands of the 1970s, and one of their greatest songs was "Hey You", which was about Burton and put him in his place.

Chad - you HAVE to do No Sugar Tonight / New Mother nature (go studio NOT any liver version) if you like the bass here. Jimmy Kale is a criminally underrated bass player. I'm not talking technical ability. Kale knew how to lay down a melodic bass groove/riff that was just perfect for the space in every song. That is a skill not many have. No Sugar Tonight contains one of the best bass descending riffs ever recorded, intermingled with a pocket groove that is SO cool. Pure feel, power, and impeccable placement. Gives me chills every time I even think about it. You'll know it when you hear it...... And the slow motion drum fills from Gary Peterson will surely have you reeling. A song with so much groove. I've watched all your reactions, and heard you say what you like in songs. This one will go instantly into your Top 10 - guaranteed.
