For Valhalla verbs. Click the MIX label above the Mix knob. This will lock the Mix parameter at the current value. You can also change the Mix value after locking it, and it will stay at the same value while browsing through presets.

This style of presenting new plugins never gets old. Learning about the history behind the hardware being emulated plus where the plugin goes above and beyond is hella entertaining.

APPARENTLY this is true: Jon Anderson of Yes during the recording of TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS was frustrated that he didn't sound as good on tape, as he did in the literal shower. So he demanded they build a shower in the recording studio. Along with a literal barnyard with cows and hay but that's another story. But it turns out it's not trivially easy to build a bathroom just...you know, wherever, and so they ended up with some plywood with bathroom tiles sort of randomly stuck to it. And all during the recording, they'd have to stop vocal recording when a tile would fall off. MULTIPLE people who were there, including their engineer Eddie Offord, attest that this is real.
@mcolville

I always thought the shower sounded better because you're getting your own voice blasted back at you with basically zero latency and can therefore fine-tune your vocal. But the reverb thing sounds more plausible now.

another excellent video, gotta get my hands on this. Wave Alchemy hasn't missed yet, i have both Glow and Pulse and one of them ends up on everything i do. Glow handles all my gated reverbs on my upcoming album.

Fantastic video!!! 👏👏👏I had always shied away from plate reverbs (for no good reason at all), and now...I think I'm going to have to use them MUCH MORE! And AWESOME demo of Radiance - I will need to buy this plugin!!! But I don't think I'll ever try putting a microphone AND a speaker in my pooper.

This review is worthless! The guy doesn’t declare the nature of his relationship with the manufacturer (beyond a vague “sponsoring” buried at the end of the vid) Did they pay him to say this? Is he a freelancer with the company? Does he receive free products? Brother; For a man who holds your fellow musicians to account for their actions you need to be more circumspect with your own financial affairs.
